Fall Fiber Festival and Montpelier Sheep Dog Trials
Had a great time at the festival. My winning artwork was featured on the 2018 catalog, t-shirts, totes and notecards. I had a great time watching the dog trials, showing my work and meeting really nice people. It was fun to see so many people wearing my artwork on their tees and totes. It was a great weekend!
HoA is an annual homesteading conference taking place in Front Royal, Virginia. Featuring guest speakers such as Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm, Jill Winger of The Prairie Homestead, and many others, it is promising to be a spectacular event. The conference will cover a variety of topics, including running a farm business, animal husbandry, vintage cooking skills, permaculture design and more. There will also be a host of vendors showcasing their food, products, skills, and homemade goods. I will be there with my felted farm animal originals and prints.
This is looking to be a very exciting event! You can grab a seat by heading over to https://homesteadersofamerica.com to purchase tickets.
Follow my business on social media! You can find me on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, where I will be sharing behind-the-scenes pictures, alpaca stories, upcoming events and more.
I have joined the Shave 'Em to Save 'Em 3 year fiber artist challenge! This challenge is hosted by the Livestock Conservancy to support shepherds raising rare breeds, to connect fiber artists with shepherds, to promote the use of rare wool and to make raising rare breeds of sheep more profitable.
